Position/Title: Jr. POS Project Manager Location: SJ, CA Duration: 6mos Contract (possible extension) Start Date: 9/15/08 End Date: 3/15/09 Compensation: DOE (depends on experience) Job Description: * The ideal candidate should have at least 4-5 yrs of retail experience, focused on customer facing front-end systems like POS (point of sale). * 2-3 yrs experience as a project manager/Lead, implementing retail/POS projects and working with cross-functional teams. * Excellent understanding of retail processes with a good understanding of POS systems and payment processing. * Good understanding of project life cycle management and the various phases in a typical software project. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, etc. * This role has a strong emphasis on retail experience and understanding of customer facing retail processes, along with POS knowledge.
