Title:       Mainframe Developer.

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 3 months+



The technical requirement will be COBOL, CICS and DB2.



Description:



1.  Minimum 8 years programming experience in a IBM/MVS/TSO/ISPF environment,
with 5 years credit card processing application.

2.  Proficient in JCL, Assembler, COBOL, CICS, DB2, TSO, IBM Utilities,
VSAM/IAM Utilities, Abend-Aid, File-Aid, Xpeditor and Strobe.

3.  Experience with Endevor or similar library/code management system
preferred.

4.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

5.  Experience in DB2 is highly desirable

6.  Must be capable of multi-tasking and running multiple projects
simultaneously.



Roles:

1.  This position will perform analysis, technical design, coding, and
unit/system/acceptance testing of enhancements, interfaces, and
modifications to the mainframe bankcard application.

2.  Analysis business requirements and business functional specifications,
and translating the requirements into writing technical specification
documents.

3.  Develop/Modify application programs to support the functional and
technical specifications.

4.  Must work with business and technical resources to analyze problems
encountered in testing and determine changes required to correct problems.

5.  Expected to support production batch from time to time and overtime will
be required... including weekends.

6.  The candidate must be a self-starter, able to work on multiple projects
at any given time with little supervision
