Position: Sr. Flex/Flash Developer Location: SF, CA Length: 3+ months Contract to Hire (NO H1B's) Payrate: DOE (Please include your candidate's hourly rate) Summary: Our client is one of the hottest companies in the gaming industry and is looking to add to their team. They are looking for a Sr. Flex/Flash Developer who is PASSIONATE developing cutting-edge applications. If you love gaming and "social networking" technologies-EVEN BETTER! This person need to be able to work in a face-paced environment where everyone "works hard, but also plays hard"! Responsibilities: * Work with product and technical staff to define product requirements * Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable and robust FLEX applications, components, and modules * Prototype custom applications and functionality for clients * Development and/or use of Web Services and XML-based API's for FLEX applications * Provide troubleshooting for existing applications when necessary Required Skills: As the successful candidate, you will meet the following requirements: * Self-starter, proactive, positive, creative, and flexible * One complete lifecycle, and at least 6 months commercial Flex, including Cairngorm, MVC, or similar architecture * Some experience with web presentation technologies (e.g,. DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSL, and AJAX) * Discipline to document ideas and code in a clear, comprehensive and organized manner * Superior problem-solving skills: the ability to quickly troubleshoot and respond to bugs Preferred Skills: * 2+ years of experience designing schemas and developing applications using JAVA and an RDBMS (SQL/MySQL is preferred) is a big plus * Experience in a startup or small company environment * Experience developing RIA for high-volume web sites * Object oriented design and development * Experience with any of these: PHP, Perl, Python, VBScript, C/C++/C#, and Visual Basic *1+ years in Adobe Flex 2/3, ActionScript, Flash *Familiarity a plus in one or more of the following: Away3D, Papervision, Smartfox *Experience with version control systems such as Subversion or CVS *2+ years software development with OO design We Appreciate your business, Sam S Dut JInfo Systems Inc.
