The main technologies involved are *Java, J2EE, Vignette Web Services, and
SQL Server.
*Experience working within Service Oriented Architecture is preferred, but
not required.
*MCM uses Vignett*e as their enterprise content management system.
Our Project is also *using JSR 168 (WebSphere) as their portal. Again,
experience is preferred, but not required*.
There is a team of 8 people in this group. The primary responsibility of
this individual will be to work on new applications to support the new
product lines. The breakdown *is 90% new development and 10% development* on
an existing application. The application servers are *Tomcat, moving to
JBoss.*
The Databases are *SQL Server 2005 and MySQL. The* breakdown is 50% front
end
development and *50% back end* development.
Experience with Linux, Apache, and PHP are expected as well.

DUTIES >> The individual will be responsible for creating and modifying
packages for automated installation and distribution via SMS 2003. The main
package creation / modification software will be Wise Package Studio 7 with
adherence to defined Global Packaging guidelines. This position will also
entail some day-to-day SMS administration (concentrating on Patch
Management)
SKILLS >> Applicant must have:
• 3 or more years experience working with Wise Package Studio in
an SMS environment
• Good operational experience with SMS 2003
• Moderate experience with SQLServer
• Ability to write custom scripts / programs
o VBScript experience is helpful
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Be able to work independently, multitask, and prioritize
projects appropriately.
• Must have a systems level knowledge of the Windows operating
systems, registry, WMI, etc
• The ability to maintain good documentation of standards and
procedures.
• The ability to interact with a global team of SMS
Administrators and packagers
EDUCATION >> • BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or
related discipline is recommended
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with SMS scripting and
Deployments, a plus
• Minimum of 4 years experience working with IT systems and
technologies
• Web development is helpful but not required
