Position: J2ME Consultant
Location : Dublin, OH. US
Job Requirement:
#. 7+ years of experience in IT solution architecting with atleast 4 years
in Mobile related solutions
#. Knowledge about the wireless communication system ( WiFi in particular)
#. Delivery experience in the area of consulting/System Integration ( in the
area of Enterprise Mobile/Wireless solutions)
#. Hands on experience with multiple Enterprise mobile devices like Symbol (
MC75, MC 9000 Series, WT 4000 Series), Intermec ( CN- 2 and CN-3 series),
Psion Techlogix ( 7500 Series)
#. Hands on experience with the Undermentioned technologies
a. J2EE
b. J2ME
c. Lotus Notes XPD
#. Experience with .NET CF would be an added advantage
#. Independant player to give the mobile/wireless solution roadmap
#. Experience in analysing the portability of a solution over multiple
devices
#. Evaluating and arriving at the right device for the use
#. Able to work with both technical and management layers in customers
#. Experience in conducting technical reviews/discussion with multiple
Product ( H/w and S/W) vendors
#. A self starter and able to demostrate strong sense of business ownership
and leadership
Job Description
#. To work closely with the customer to design and develop the solution to
fulfill the customer needs by understanding the customer challenges and
architectures in the Wireless/Mobile application space
#. Provides technical design of innovative customer solutions in line with
the customer requirements
#. Fully responsible for the customer solution design
#. Evaluate and recommend the right mobile / hand held device/s to the
customer
#. Assumes technical leadership on a customer Project Key tasks
#. Influence the technical mindset of the customer team by conducting
technical workshops
#. Work along with customer on the technical part of the discussion with
third party vendors of H/W and S/W.
#. Decision on products in customer solution and initiate necessary product
evaluations and validations
#. Perform technical risk evaluation of the proposed
design/solution/Hardware
