TECHNICAL Project Manager. The successful candidate will possess custom
software development Project Management skills, primarily managing software
developers and testers in a scientific environment.
 Rate : max 45- 48/hr

*The ideal candidate will have come from a Java J2EE / OO / Test First
Development background, and then got into Technical Project Management.**

The person in this role will be responsible for:
Managing a team of software developers, business analysts, support
specialists and testers across multiple projects.
Ensuring that development objectives and project deliverables are
accomplished on time.
Coordinating requirements definition.
Tracking enhancements.
Coordinating testing and documentation.
Adoption of project management and technical practices and standards.
Manage the review processes for new technology implementations.

Required Skills:

*BS degree required. MS in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS highly
desired.  At least 3 years IT project leadership required.
**The successful candidate will possess custom software development Project
Management skills, primarily managing software developers and testers in a
scientific environment.
**Candidate must be PC proficient, have strong organizational skills,
written and oral communication skills and problem solving skills.
**The successful candidate will work effectively in ambiguous situations,
will possess critical thinking skills, and will be decisive while working
cooperatively with others.
