* Location: Atlanta, GA* *Duration: One Year* *Network Services Data Clean-up Position* ** *Position 1 (Junior-level)* The purpose of this position is to support the clean-up, consolidation and migration of Intelsat ground and customer specific network data. Data is currently stored in a combination of locations and formats. The individuals supporting this initiative will be responsible for comparing data content across various sources of data, identifying inconsistencies and entering data into interim tools and databases. This position requires a basic understanding of IP networks and equipments and tools that support IP networks. Specific requirements include: - Associates Degree or higher (Academic degree can be substituted by significant years of experience) - 1-2 years commercial experience in a Network Operations Center, ISP environment - Knowledge of IP subnetting and CIDR - Knowledge of CISCO routers and switches - Knowledge of data communications protocols, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP - Ability to verify that switches and routers as well as their configured network services and protocols, operate as intended within a given network specification - Experience using Excel and Visio required - Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written - Experience in DBA a plus - Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, prioritizing and teamwork skills - Experience with terrestrial telecom fiber desired - Understanding of RF technology and satellite communication including satellite modems and link budget calculations desirable but not mandatory. - Experience understanding network configurations, including routing architecture, desirable -- Thanks & Regards, Praveen Nitya Corp.
