Unix Admin AIX 12 month City: Plymouth Rate: $55 per hr Data Center migration over the next year and will be physically and virtually moving servers to new locations. 2 openings in this group, 1 focused on Solaris & 1 on AIX. Experience in both flavors is highly desired! Looking for someone who is highly experienced in the installation, networking and migration of large data center environments. There are about 4-5,000 servers in this Data Center that are planned to be migrated to new locations (physically or virtually) over the next year. Minimum of 4-5 yrs of experience with Unix/AIX in large data center environments is required! Experience with AIX Virtual L par is highly desired! This function reviews, analyzes and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large scale computer system. Evaluate system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Generally work is self directed and not prescribed. Work with less structured more complex issues. Serve as a resource to others. Will be required to be in a 14 week on-call rotation consisting of a 3-4 person team on call at all times.
