* * *Position* - RF Test Engineer *Location:* Chelmsford , MA *Duration*: 6 months *Start Date:* ASAP *Salary Range/Pay Rate:* $35.00/hr *Nature of position*: Contract *Experience:* The RF Test Engineer will report to engineering and develop automated Labview/TestStand code used in the testing of complex RF transceivers. Primary duties will be to understand and develop automated routines to test various transmitter and receiver parameters using RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Signal Generators, Network Analyzers). Duties also include writing data management tools (database) to allow for later documentation and analysis. Secondary responsibility will be to interface with the operations group in support of the transfer of a design to manufacturing test. This may require some limited factory support as well. Familiarity with various RF test equipment is required, as well as a thorough understanding of LabView/TestStand. Knowledge of interfacing to Microsoft Access is also required. Knowledge of CDMA and 1XEVDO waveforms a plus.
