ENGINEER- EMBEDDED SYSTEMS

DESCRIPTION:
Embedded Systems Engineer
Will drive integration adaptation and creation of a SymbianOS BSP for
wireless chipset solutions. Will be working with all areas of real- time
embedded software with focus on low-level drivers and middleware for
multiple wireless chipset platforms. Some positions also work on porting and
integration of Series60 to wireless chipset solutions.
1. Must have strong C/C++ programming skills, good problem solving
skills, and experience using software development processes
2. Must have working knowledge of data structures, multitasking
concepts and operating systems basics
3. In- depth knowledge of SymbianOS internals and drivers and series60
is highly desirable
4. Optional exposure on OpenMAX & Symbian v9.5 or 9.6
5. SymbianOS/S60 technology knowledge in TSY, MM, Graphics, LBS, SAT<
etc is desirable
6. Experience in SymbianOS/S60 build, integration, test and GCF
qualification also desirable
7. Knowledge in real-time microprocessoe- based embedded programming
and embedded real-time operating systems is a strong plus
8. Experience with Perforce, ARM processors, and JTAG debuggers is an
asset
