*NEED LOCAL CANDIDATES AND MUST HAVE WALL ST EXPRIENCE * ** *Title : Sr .NET developer w/SQL Server * *Duration : 6 months* *Location : NYC (LOCALS)* * * Required Skills, Experience and Education* At least 5-7 years of IT experience. ** *At least 1+ years experience in understanding relational database models and developing database queries in MS SQL SERVER or any DBMS. At least 2+ years experience in Visual Studio 2003 or 2005 C# / .Net programming and developing .Net 2.0 and/or 3.0 applications. *Microsoft Team Foundation Server Experience with knowledge transfer. * Clearly communicating technical and functional requirements and processes to technical staff and/or business staff. Thorough working knowledge of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT systems and processes, methodologies and their direct implementation to projects. Experience developing database queries in MS SQL Server 2005. Strong business and systems analysis skills and experience with numerous environments and architectures. Ability to understand, translate and document all business and user requirements. Goals-oriented proactive team player with the demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced professional environment. Critical thinker with excellent problem solving skills that can make independent decisions within area of responsibility and expertise. Works well in and supports a distributed team environment and is adaptive to changes in methodologies and technologies. Other preferred requirements: Delivering data to end users using Excel based reporting using macros and Pivot tables Data warehousing experience Experience with MS business intelligence tools such as Reporting services, Analysis services and integration services.
