POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Sr. Ab Initio Developer performs impact analysis, design, development, and
unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design
documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various
testing cycles. Excellent knowledge and experience with Ab Initio, SQL, and
Crystal Reports.
Requirements:
-Must have experience in Ab Initio (2.14 or higher); SQL; PL/SQL; Crystal
Reports; Autosys.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Self starter. Must be able to get up to speed on the application and become
productive with minimal supervision.
The candidate will:
-Participate in requirements analysis and definition.
-Design, code, unit test, and performance tune ETL (Ab Initio) applications.
-Design, code, unit test, and performance tune SQL queries and PL/SQL
packages.
-Design, code, and unit test Crystal reports.
-Prepare code documentation in support of program development, including
high level and detailed design documents, unit test specifications,
interface specifications, etc.
-Follow established software development guidelines and procedures.
-Oversee code builds and deployments adhering to change management
standards.
-Support QA and UAT by preparing the environments, providing execution
instructions, troubleshooting issues, and resolving defects.
-Conduct peer code reviews.
