Please find Job Description below. *DATASTAGE DESIGNERS / ARCHITECTS -- BANK -- SINGAPORE* *Skills & Experience Required: DATASTAGE 7.5, ORACLE 9i * *Experience Required (Description):* As a Datastage Designer you would be required to have: Experience in *designing, developing and implementing Datastage based ETL solutions for data warehouse projects*. Multiple Project environment & full Development Project life-cycle experience. Experience in *UNIX, Oracle Database concepts*. Should have 4-8 yrs of application development experience with strong background in Data Warehousing and & *ETL development using Ascential DataStage*. Experience in *Datastage PE Edition* required. Experience in interfacing between Clients and User Community. Should have been a *module lead managing delivery* of DW projects in the ETL area, having delivery responsibility in terms of Estimation, Planning, Architecture and Design in Datastage platform is preferred. Should have hands on experience in minimum of *2 DW projects* in activities involving Analysis, Design, Development, Unit Test & Deployment of DataStage/Unix/Database components. Ability to work in a team setting, and deliver in an *onsite offshore model of delivery*. Strong analytical & problem solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with “Can do attitude”. *Roles & Responsibilities (Key Skills):* Responsible for delivery in terms of Estimation, Planning, Architecture and Design in Datastage platform with Implementation. Will be involved in Analysis, Design and Development. To test & deploy Datastage/Unix/Database components. 4-8 years Datastage EE (upgrading to 8) // Parallel Extender (PE / PX) 4-8 years Oracle (upgrading to 11g) Strong design skills.
