I'm sure cookie is enabled because i saw it enabled in IE5 configuration list. Any other possibility? Have you read the other thread about %udat on the Embperl mailinglist?   Try   - setting dbgHeadersIn in EMBPERL_DEBUG an see if the cookies is always send by the browser - to upgrade IE 5 - replace SysVSemaphoreLocker with NullLocker   Gerald
