Hi all!
After trying for several hours, i wonder if someone has solved that
configuration-problem:
Because of multiple applications, we need to support php4 as well as cgi's
and emberl
We used:
apache version 1.3.12
embperl 1.3b6
mod_perl 1.24
php 4.03p1
perl 5.6
mysql 3.23.27-beta (also tried earlier versions)
Kernel Linux x86 2.2.14
The problem is, that everything works fine as long as i don't use the
database.
If i first access the database with php (which works well) and afterwards
try to access it with embperl, the actual involved server crashes with
segmentation fault (11) (NOT at server startup time!).
Access with php alone or embperl alone or access via embpexec runs fine -
so i consider the underlying DBI and DBD::mysql is correct and the mysql
server too
... but perhaps i'm blind on one, two or more eyes =:). The actual
workaround is, to use two different servers on different ports to handle
embperl and php - but i'm not very happy with that solution... Perhaps
someone has made the same experience and solved the problem
