Embperl 2.0 parser can handle this with just a few lines more in the syntax
definition, I am not sure if I will introduce it in 1.3.x, because there you
are right it isn't such easy to implement

You can handle it as nested braces, then the editor could tell you if it is
correctly nested. At least the Embperl 2.0 parser will tell you if it is not
correctly nested.
