It must be something with the orginal .phtml file I was using.
I pulled the info out for a single div tag, created a new .phtml file
for it and submit it to itself. work fine now.

go figure.

If Embperl would not run, you would see all your Perlcode in the Browser. I
guess this is not the case, otherwise you have told us. I personaly using
Embperl on Windows NT too and I don't have any Problems with posting data
back to the same page. This is a thing I am doing quite often.
