Hi > > This is more than likely a stupid question so sorry to ask. Is there any way to trigger embedded perl on a javascript event? Im sure there isn't as the page is processed when requested. Is there any "hack" around this? >
You give your own answer. Embperl runs on the server side and JS on the clientside, so you can't trigger any Embperl code with a JS event. The only thing you can do is, to trigger a submit() with JS, which submits your values to the server, where Embperl can handle them. On the other side you can use Embperl to generate JS code.
