I don't know why you would get this error about /windows/TEMP/...
not existing, especially since you said earlier that other ppm
installs went OK ... Does installing from the command line as
'ppm install HTML-Embperl.ppd' (ie, not from within the ppm
shell) work? As Gerald suggested, if you're running an older
version of ActivePerl, it might help to upgrade - I know that the
ppm client in some earlier versions didn't work as advertised.
