i dunno if its a mod_perl or Embperl issue. the default permission with which files are craeted by the httpd process is 600 (-rw------) i want it to be 644 (-rw-r--r--) . when i print the value of umask from an Embperl file it is octal 77 ie 0077 [- $umask = sprintf "%o" , umask; -] UMASK: [+ $umask +] how/where can i set it to 0022 , i have tried it in startup.pl but it does not seems to work. anticipating a reply. regds Mallah. ----------------------------------------- Get your free web based email at trade-india.com.
