The problem is that every RedHat version changes something in the system and
you have to try to catch up. I guess the problem is only a problem of make
test and not a problem of Embperl itself. Since I don't have the resources
to install every available system, I depend on feedback and help from all
users.

Of course makeing installation easy is important. I try my best. Makefile.PL
which needs to handle all that is about 1330 lines, test.pl has nearly 3000
lines (not counting the more the 200 test pages) where large parts only
makes sure that it tests correct on different platforms. So you see I have
put some work into this, but it's never possible to catch up, there will
always be a new system, that has a different layout, or a different linker
or different charset or whatever and by the way I personaly never use
RedHat, so it would be great if anybody using RedHat would do this job (like
some of you already do, otherwise EMbperl would have never been what it is).

Enought talking let's try to get it working, fetch 2.0b9 try to figure what
is not working and report it or even better send a patch.
