Dear Sir,
I was compiling EMC on Ubuntu 6.06. "./configure" command took 5 to 10 minutes.
But when I entered "Make" command to compile the EMC it took more than eight
hours, and compiling process was still going on. I am confused whether it
requires this much time or there is something wrong?
During the compiling process, it shows files it is compiling like "Checking
dependency ..." / "making mak" .... etc
After approx 8 hours I forcebly quit the process by pressing "Ctrl + z" from
keyboard.
Further more I am using PIII, 1GHZ computer with 256MB of RAM to compile the
EMC.
Please guide me how much time it requires for the said process.
