Yes there is quite a few annoying litle bugs- one large bug fixed by my patch was the compare /operate bug that would cause classicladder to copy one operation on to another ( if you misspelled the variable or entered nothing) then change all operations if you tried to edit it. There are also a few undocumented features - such as an absolute math function , a maximum and minimum check function and there is a average function coded ( that doesn't work).
somethings I would like to do are:
Make the rung update rate user selectable. (it's hard coded at 100ms which seems slow).
A button to show basic help- comands and variable names etc.
An exceptable way to bring external (Hal) signed integers into Classiclader variables- one way I tried was to 'piggyback' on top if word (%W) variables. This works but It means that some previous programs would not work properly (but would be easy to fix those programs). Actually I could make it user configurable how many (if any) word variables are HAL controlled. It could defaut to none, then all old programs would work properly.
Not sure if bringing external floating point numbers into Classicladder is worth the trouble.
would like to auto designate symbol names for the input/output variables ( so insteady of seeing %I2 one would see maybe HALbIN2). A user could change these names of course.
fix some other annoying things-such as symbols loading reliably, being able to load classicladder with no ladder program, exit properly when version requested etc.
Anything else U guys can think of?
