Currently the step resolution and encoder resolution are independent (but
stepper use with encoder is not that used much).
When you are going to make the board, could you please post the pricing and
availability too? The other guy who made similar board for PCI (USB is useless
due to unpredictable latencies) was not able to post about pricing or sale for
months after the announcement that they have it ready :(.
