Is hostmot2 on the TRUNK even? If not, do it there first and don't worry about getting it in a 2.2.5 release on a tight schedule.
anyway, I don't absolutely have to have the 2.2.5 release before the Ubuntu 8.04 release. But I wouldn't want to miss the weekend of the 26th/27th for making the 2.2.5 release.
