Hi Alex

Yea.  Separate out docs during a build but keep them in place so we have
proper versioning.  Docs ought to have a language option so we are able
to create specific language packages.  IMO we screwed up putting the
latest doc edits back into 2.2.6.  We would not have done that for
source.

The sim stuff does seem like a conflict but I'm of the opinion that we
should mimic the kernel build and allow the production of modules as we
want rather than every possible setup.  I know we've talked at length
about this before.  We should just bite the bullet, choose a system, and
get it done.

I wonder if we could create an on-line computer setup, a bit like the
sourceforge compile farm that has all the dependencies met. Folk can
submit a compile config to and get a run-in-place tarball back.
