I understand what your saying - though I wonder how often (if ever) someone has 
made
a panel that would broken by this change. It would take some planning. You 
would have had to note
the strange behavior decide it was worthwhile to make your life harder. I would 
think that unless
you built a very big panel and were using a program to interact with it (like 
python) you would naturally
either use no auto pinnames or all auto pinnames not a mix.
