Not an indispensable thing, but definitely a useful feature.  Maybe the
GUI should prominently show the different mode so you don't goof
when in this mode.  If the regular X-Y axes show, then maybe
R-Theta coordinate displays should show up below them, or maybe the
X-Y should be greyed out, indicating what the values are, but also marking
that you can't enter XY right now.  I'm guessing there would be a G-code to
select between Cartesian and polar, and that they would be an either-or
choice?
