We have accumulated a few important bugfixes on the v2_3_branch, and I
have a few more changes so that emc2.3.x will work with the hostmot2
firmwares built from the new hostmot2-firmware project. Now would be a
good time to speak up if you know something that needs attention before
what may be the last 2.3.x release.

If you have a hostmot2 card, testing these changes would be valuable,
whether you plan to continue using the old firmware images we ship with
emc2.3 or you want to use the new ones from the hostmot2-firmware
project.
