Thanks for your help Jeff
I made some changes that I think will work but I'm having
problems with building the package. When I issued :
debian/update-dch-from-git
I got this error:
ches...@chester-laptop:~/emc2-dev$ debian/update-dch-from-git
error: unknown option `match'
usage: git-describe [options] <committish>*
--contains find the tag that comes after the commit
--debug debug search strategy on stderr
--all use any ref in .git/refs
--tags use any tag in .git/refs/tags
--abbrev [<n>] use <n> digits to display SHA-1s
--candidates <n> consider <n> most recent tags (default: 10)
fatal: ambiguous argument '..': both revision and filename
Use '--' to separate filenames from revisions

The changefile has this in it:

Any ideas?
