I'm a bit out of things due to travelling during April. What do people see as issues blocking the 2.4.0 release? If nobody's aware of anything, or if we can get them fixed in short order, perhaps I'll be able to do the 2.4.0 release next weekend, May 8-9.
The only thing I'm aware of at the moment is G92 vs fixture rotations; after talking to Chris the solution we're going to take for now is to document that the behavior of G92 when coordinate system rotations are involved is undefined. We're going this route because it looks like the right fix involves changes at the canon API layer and I want to avoid that so close to a release. For me, I would consider a bug to block release if it * causes incorrect motion * or is a major regression from 2.3 issues that are largely the same as in 2.3 (for instance, MDI vs O-calls) are not going to block the release. Please talk to me before pushing anything on the v2.4_branch.
