Attached is a component originally written to interface between HAL, the Mesa Smart Serial firmware driver in Hostmot2 and the Mesa 8i20. It is basically a combination of the bldc_sine and bldc_hall components (which it completely replaces) with significant extra functionality. It is intended to be a very general interface and potentially has uses interfacing to all sorts of different hardware including a wide range of Smart Power modules and IGBTs (with sufficient interfacing)
It is not yet fully tested (with approximately 256 possible operation modes many of which I do not have relevant hardware for this may always be true) and is presented at this stage mainly for comment and suggestions. The embedded documentation (manpages) is approximately complete. -- atp
