The bldc component uses the user-supplied count function option. One side-effect of this is that you can't use a "names=" modparam. I have looked at the generated code, and this appears to be an unsurmountable problem with the current version of comp.
I realise that using names= and cfg= is a slightly odd idea, but the query is related to making the component play nicely with pncconf.
