Thanks for looking at it, but the new patch in that mbox still doesnt
fix package building.
I want to help get this integrated right, but I don't understand the
ngcgui architecture enough.
These are major components to your ngcgui commit ("ngcgui for v2.5"):
new sim configs
nc_files/ngcgui_lib subdirectory
tcl/ngcgui.tcl
tcl/ngcgui_app.tcl
tcl/ngcgui_ttt.tcl
The configs are straight-forward enough.
The things in nc_files/ngcgui_lib seem self-contained and easy to deal with.
It's the new things in the tcl directory that are causing all the
problems. I think part of the problem is that the tcl directory is a
little special - it's mostly but not exclusively for tcl libraries used
by tcl programs elsewhere in the source tree. It's for things that get
installed into the tcl search path, not into the system executable
search path.
What is the purpose of the three ngcgui*.tcl files you added to the tcl dir?
What is their relationship to each other and to the rest of our code
(especially to Axis)?
