Hi folks, Greg Jackson of Tormach is offering us a location for an emc2
fest at their facility in Madison Wisconsin, and some machines to play
with while we're there. Tormach makes commercial CNC machines that run
emc2, and maybe some other control software too I think.

Thanks Greg!

Guys,

It seems like it’s been a while since EMC2 had a developers meeting. If
you have any interest, I’d be happy to volunteer our facility. We have
occasional classes, but for the most part our classroom sits empty. We
have a classroom that can serve 10 – 12 people with a big screen TV. The
classroom is directly adjacent to the classroom workshop which has 4 CNC
mills and another engineering workshop that has another 3 to 5 mills.
All of our mills are printer port driven, but we do have some Mesa
hardware. We can easily image the computers to Linux, thanks to
Sebastian’s help. We’re outside of Madison Wisconsin and about 10
minutes from airport MSN. I’d like to help the EMC effort and hosting a
meeting would also be a great way for us to learn more about EMC2.

My email addresses are old and may not work, plus I don’t have address
for Chris R., Alex J. or Jeff E, so I hope someone can make sure this
info goes to all of the directors.
