if you have git:

git remote add mah git://git.mah.priv.at/emc2-dev.git
git checkout -b mah/fanuc-general-purpose-retract
git pull mah fanuc-general-purpose-retract
cd src
make
sudo make setuid

then
. ./rip-environment

and choose the sim/retract config.

(I think that is all of it, my command history contains many dead ends
and mistaken commands)
