I think of this as YAWTRH (yet another way to run headless) but it would be nice to have a similar web-server interface available in LinuxCNC. It reminds me of work I was involved in just before I retired, with "smart" buildings broadcasting messages from their mechanical-equipment and fire-sensing systems using pub-sub technology to anything from a cell phone to a community CAD (computer-aided dispatch) system to a regional/national emergency-alert network. Unfortunately, the source code for miniemc2 is hidden to us "non members" so I'll have to think about how I would reinvent this wheel. Think of the fun one can have with HTML5. The screen shots are very attractive, by the way. Someone on the miniemc2 project has a sense of visual style.
