I just ran into a strange thing in pid.c, there is a pin
pid.1.command-deriv, which in the code is exported as a
hal INPUT pin. I don't see anywhere in the code where it
is written to, yet it appears to show the right value when observed
with Halscope.

The value IS used to compute the error derivative at line 353.

I note that addr->commandv is NOT initialized at the bottom of pid.c
where all
the other input pins are generally set to zero.

Can anybody comment on this?

Jon
