Well, no, I don't. Was this Igor or Piotr Kapitza? Piotr K. was awarded 
the Nobel Prize in Physics a few years after I left the University of 
Chicago. Working with high-voltage RF circuitry, large-volume ultra-high 
vacuum chambers, and cryogenic fluids, I had several "successes" of my 
own before I received my PhD. None quite as spectacular, perhaps, but 
quite memorable.

And I said neutrons when I meant to say alpha particles. Sigh.
