I'm sure that amplitude and phase can be extracted from a number of 
short samples
taken with single-frequency stimulus.  That just takes time, maybe 5 seconds
per frequency to allow the system to achieve steady state and grab a 
long enough
sample to include a couple cycles.  If you need 100 frequencies, that needs
almost 10 minutes.  Clearly doing all frequencies at once will give a much
quicker result, but if the various noises muddy the result, that is not 
better.

I can imagine some script that controls the signal generator and 
acquires the
samples shouldn't be all that hard to do, then the rest could be done with
a C program.
