Greetings;

There is a motion.backlash-vel output available, looks like a float.
+ or - number dependent on the direction.

I am thinking that I could feed this float into a comp(are) module, and use
its output to disable high, the motion.probe-input for the duration of the
backlash move, or maybe even for calibration purposes, xor it, so I can
move away from the contact without getting a probe stop during the backlash
move.

Usable idea?

I did get that screw ordered that we talked about on IRC this afternoon,
and I have the ghost of an idea for the carriage to nut linkage semi-
assembled in my head. I am thinking a couple of old tape measure springs
might make a decent dust cover, and that a plate on the bottom of the apron
could hold a bracket that reaches up to the nut but haven't drawn any what
if sketches yet & won't till I have the screw and nut in my hands. A month
max according to the seller.

Cheers, Gene
