Currently anyone using the master branch and a Mesa card with old smart-serial firmware (v < 34) will not be able to boot their config.
This patch fixes that (tested), however I am in a hotel, with a Win7 laptop, and can't push. Could someone please push this to master? -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto
