I figure that it was something simple like that. > #### from another email #### > can I ask you to add that to the bugtracker with a complete > description of package versions, in particular versions of gcc, c++ > and libstdc++ versions, and config.log - this would help to reproduce > and make sure it is fixed sure. I was just trying to get this out before I went to bed (which means I probably would forget by the time I work up and it would be weeks before posting). Do you still want me to submit a formal bug report since you already got it fixed, or should I just move on to the next thing? > please pull from master, rebuild, and execute runtests I built it successfully using : EGIT_COMMIT=5d72a8b18aa8424fcf369df0fccecc7234dae1c3 in an experimental gentoo portage ebuild. runtests broke all over the place though. This is in part to Genoo's standard install not machining with where/how linuxcnc is expecting to do things. This is as expected as I need to live patch various things like installing runtests in /usr/bin, liblinuxcncini.so.0 in /opt/linuxcnc/lib64, and that I will only be testing with the preemptive kernel... It will take me awhile yet to sort everything out on the new architecture, but I needed to get it to build before testing. As a note, I am insanely slammed at work and this will be a background project until I get to the point I either need it for a new project (which is highly likely) or the little pokes finally produce a running system. Also, are there any other Gentoo'ers that are willing to help? I have Sunrise overlay submission authority when it gets working...
