Thanks, bookmarked FFR.  But I swore, after putting a hack into a PS2 once 
that I would never get involved with pin lifting again.  Only with a couple 
layers of plumbers teflon tape wedged under the lifted pin was it possible 
to stick a piece of kynar to it without resoldering it to the board.  But 
that stuff needs some sort of pressure sensitive glue, I had a hell of a 
time keeping it in place long enough to do the joint.  There may have been 
something suitable available, but Weston WV might as well be a burb of Ulan 
Bator in terms of getting it here.  I did try some paper tape from the band 
aid shelf at CVS, but couldn't get the tools to let go of it once placed.
