Hi folks, I've been talking with Michael Haberler on IRC about getting involved with hal development for BeagleBoard Black, and I wanted to quickly introduce myself.
I've been working with linuxcnc as a user for about four years now; just completed my fourth machine, and I love the product. I'm a professional developer by trade, Sr. Technical Architect for Turner Broadcasting System in Atlanta, GA, working on CNN, sports properties such as NCAA March Madness Live, and much more. I'm a hobbyist machinist, as well as an experimental aviation enthusiast and pilot building an RV-7. My C skills will require a bit of dusting off, as I have mostly been working in Java and functional languages these last many years, but I hope to be able to come up to speed and be useful!
