Hi,
I saw this post today on the BB lists. The 1st two URLs have good info
re device trees and BBB.
I thought I'd pass this along for those thinking about device
trees/Hal/BBB Pin mux interactions.

OK,
I've managed to find plenty of information on DTO's throught the following
resources:

Blog entry:
http://blog.pignology.net/2013/05/getting-uart2-devttyo1-working-on.html
and : https://github.com/jadonk/validation-scripts/tree/master/test-capemgr

There's also a new book with many examples on using Device Trees on the new
Beaglebone called "Bad to the Bone"
http://www.morganclaypool.com/doi/abs/10.2200/S00500ED1V01Y201304DCS041.
The ebook costs around $20. I believe hard copies can be bought for amazon
for around $40.
