I think it was good for the developers to hear ALL the machinists moan about the difficulty of restarting a program on LinuxCNC. I've complained about this a few times over the years, but it was a universal complaint at MPM. Hopefully, it will lead to a better solution. I didn't participate all that much in the discussions as I really don't know a whole lot about these specific concerns (GPL licenses and rtapi internals) but learned a lot just by listening. I made a HUGE error coming out of Wichita and added 110 miles to my return trip, ended up going through Salina instead of Topeka, and then took another wrong road at Kansas City and ended up on suburb streets, but that was much easier to recover from. So, my trip took 9 1/2 hours instead of 7 1/2. But, I got a good night's sleep and almost have my car unloaded. Thanks again, Stuart!
