Strange. I have very little experience with 12.04 (ran it on a Beagle
Board, never on
X86). But, I have been running a 10.04 web server with a HUGE array of
services
(primary DNS server, apache2, dovecot and sendmail, sshd, firewall,
mysql, php
and on and on.) Lately it has been getting rebooted frequently due to
power failures,
but usually runs weeks to months at a time, and I only have to restart
pop every
few months when it crashes. Otherwise it is amazingly stable, considering
that tons of hackers are trying to break it.
