This is a strange one. Running Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.5.7-xenomai-2.6.2.1 i686) The PC will boot in normal mode, but with no video. This is an Intel GMA PC (DN2800MT) so some wierdness is normal, but with the generic and RTA kernels the problem is just that the system fonts are unusably small (4 pixels high). Booted into X with no local video I can still SSH in and do normal stuff.
If I boot into the recover mode I _still_ get no video. But in that case I _can't_ ssh into the machine, it appears to be even more "dead". -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get 100% visibility into Java/.NET code with AppDynamics Lite!
