I just pushed my re-factor of stepconf into master.
It mostly about internal changes - though a couple use
differences.

It now use GTK builder and GTK notebook so can be
edited with reasonably modern GLADE editors.
I broke it up into more files so to add comprehension
(I hope) and ease adding of later features .

A couple feature changes:

-If you change units it will change the defaults to
hopefully reasonable defaults for that unit.
This also means that if you fill in some data then
go back and change the units it will over-write
that data ( if it's something that needs units changing )
Not sure if I should pop an annoying dialog about that each
time...

-One can select signals on a second parallel port.
I didn't allow step or direction on the second port.
Not sure how to set that up properly or if it would
actually work. (I can't currently test this)

The HAL and INI building logic is basically the same as before
so it should build configs the same as before (bugs and all)
aside from the second parport signals.

I have tested with the hardware I have - single parport.
seems fine axis test works, config starts etc.
I can't test dual parport stuff.

So can anyone with time please put stepconf through it's
paces and report good and bad - particularly the second
parport.

PS. It seems the axis test in stepconf has been broken in
master for some time - surprising we never got more complaints.
